Ideas for in my bathroom?
Comments (5)With a nice clean space like that you can go a lot of different ways. I would start by looking at shower curtains, because they can become the focal point. When you find one or two (or more) that you like, you can play off of the colors in the curtain to find the color towels, bath mat, and even wall color. Some ideas: You could go classic black and white, with a touch of something bright if you want for an accent (like the fuscia in the photo) Or something "spa-like," in acqua and cream. Or you could go bright, with teal and lime green. Another classic look: tan walls, white and/or tan towels and bathmat, simple white accessories. Good luck!...See MoreVintage hall table to bathroom vanity unit
Comments (5)Yay finally finished and installed... Love the look. Had a modern pedestal basin before bathroom Reno. We have old 1903 cottage and like transitional look. After looking Around we found this old hall table second hand and lots of work waterproofing and coating and finishing and now we are able to use it. I love it!...See MoreSome help with a bathroom layout please?
Comments (7)I agree you probably need to centre the vanity and the cabinet on the wall or they could look a bit odd! You don't say why you don't want a space between the window and the vanity - just my opinion, but I would think 300mm could be quite useful for a bin, a clothes basket or box, or a small stool for putting clothes on? The only alternative to leaving a space, is to fill it with something as the response above suggested. To avoid it interfering with the window, you could make this something lower, so it sits level with the top of the vanity. This could be built in and the wall lining put over it to create a single "shelf" level with the underside of the vanity top, or if you can find some freestanding open shelving of the correct width, which could also be cut to the correct height, you could wedge that between the wall and the vanity side when fitting the vanity. Just bear in mind also, that you'll lose some of your towel hanging space if you put something too high in the space....See MoreMain Bathroom Layout... HELP!!!
Comments (5)Hi Fernando. Not sure if you have considered the shower door in your layout, either the bath traps or it collides with the bathroom entry door, some awkward gaps by the bath and vanity there too, cleaning will drive you crazy. What do you think of this layout? This means you can have a 900 x 1200 shower with a sliding door and just room for a towel rail next to the vanity. Let me know how you go!...See MoreJonathan B.
