Navy walls - yay or nay?

Seeking opinion on the use of navy paint in a small apartment. Two walls to be painted dark with the intention of making the space feel cosier. I’d say my style is eclectic, but I do love mustards/yellows/pinks.

My ceilings are high and walls are concrete. The current stark white feels very empty and clinical to me.

Considering Taubmans Admiralty

Grey lamp is temporary and two seater sofa (light grey) is also temporary.

I am 90% convinced but a little scared to take the leap!!

Am happy to swap out cushions etc. I’m inspired by mid century modern, but also Frida Kahlo, bright pieces etc

@bigreader I thought about this, but as navy is quite neutral and I tend to stick to greys in sofas, I didn’t see the harm in jumping in with the painting 🤗

Yes, go for it, that is my favourite colour right now too. If you don't like it, just repaint. Do it and then post an update, would love to see the result.

Me too! Im stuck in lockdown at the moment, at my Mums house.

Now I’m looking for artwork and a lamp 🤗

I think my colour palette will be - navy, grey, mustard and dusty pink

Looks great Alison! When you have it all finished, would love to see some more pics. Love navy and grey and while the mustard and pinks aren't for me, I'm sure it will look lovely. Have fun finishing it post-lockdown!
