Blinds for a window required for ventilation

Hi,
We will start building our new home soon and I'm unsure what blinds will be able to support our living room window. The window is 2920mm x 2900mm and only the top part of the window actually opens for ventilation. The top part of the window would usually be open and the concern is that any blind I get that covers the window would either rattle or if curtains will just keep moving in the wind and blocking the ventilation. I've seen bottom up blinds, however I believe the window will be too large.
Are there any alternatives? Is it possible for roller blinds or fabric curtains still allow airflow? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
