Projects for a lifetime tenant

Hi,

My family has recently moved to Sydney where property prices are exorbitant and we will probably be forced to rent for many yaers before owning.

As such, I would like to start planning projects that can improve our quality of life which we can pick up and move to the next rental when we need to do so.

Examples would be herb/flower planters, kitchen islands, etc.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thank you,

Furniture and art would be where I'd start , but it can include things like pot plants and rugs that aren't technically either .

Having said that , sometimes it is fun or even necessary to change at least some items when you move -- every kitchen is slightly different , for example , so the colourful candy apple red jug and toaster and mixer that looks great in the white on white on white kitchen , mightn't look so great in the purple and pink one haha .

Planters, bedside tables, coffee tables, really any table, buffet, lamps. I would not do kitchen island unless you need one now or it can be repurposed for something else. Outdoor furniture and soft furnishing s.
