I’d be betting that they were purchased for the sale for aesthetics and probably aren’t suitable for the location. The pots are too small. Is the soil dry? Does the pot have drainage (the pot the plant is actually in, not the cosmetic pot)? Are the plants root bound? Is there too much/too little sun?

Thanks for your reply. The plants are still in their original pots and haven’t been repotted. Do you recommend doing this? I was away for a couple of weeks so it wasn’t watered and potentially had too much sun so might be the issue. Is it possible for them to regrow their leaves again after losing them?

Not sure why that posted twice. They do look like ficus plants which need well drained soil, not full sun, and moist not wet soil. They still have some leaves so there is a chance they will regrow. Do the existing pots have good drainage? If not they’ll need to be repotted- this would also be a chance to increase the pot size. Have you checked to see if they are root bound? If the soil is dry and dried out while you were away they’ll benefit from a good soak. I’d also move them out of full sun to a partial sun area to recover.

Plants in pots need watering, that is important. I would move the plants to a filtered sunlight position. Pot into the larger pots, feed up with correct plant feed, and water the plants regularly. Hopefully they will start to shoot new foliage. You can’t leave plants in summer in the sun with no water. If you go away again, get someone to water your garden for you.

first try to save the plants and then decide where they should live....try buying bigger plastic pots (temporary till you see if they live and where you want to keep them) some good quality potting mix (enough to fill the bigger pots) some seawood concentrate dissolved in plenty of water and transfer the plants into the new pots, stand them in a shady place, water very well and and don't let the pots dry out...(detailed instructions for repotting plants is easily available online) if they're meant to survive you may not know for months but if you're likely to be away for weeks at a time they may be better given away or planted in the ground and save money and the heartache of sick plants by investing in artificial decorative plants

Great advice, Yes they look like ficus that have dried out, as stated these need to be kept moist, I have cut one back really hard , replaced soil, and kept it well watered, this one was cut back to the stem and has regrown again, drastic but it grew back beautifully.
