Our client initially enlisted us to just renovate his outdated bathroom but as soon as he discovered we offer a complete design service, it ended up as both the bathroom and kitchen, as well as some of the living space.

The style the client wanted was something that was contemporary and minimalist, as well as having relatively easy upkeep. This was achieved by using stunning stone look, large format tiles throughout both spaces, with concave finger tile feature walls, that were added to both the bathroom and kitchen splashbacks. This allowed a seamless flow through both the kitchen and bathroom.

Before/After

For the kitchen, we didn’t touch the cabinetry as it was still in very good shape, but we added a fresh coat of white paint on the roof and ceiling that instantly brightened the space and due to the reflection made the cabinetry look fresh again.

We added floor-to-ceiling tiles to the bathroom and a new glass door that allowed natural light from the window to flow through the hallway and into the entire home. Custom cabinetry was added to bring depth and warmth and mirrored shaving cabinets provided optimal storage and made the space appear much larger than it actually was. A new modern Gebrit in-wall Toilet and under-mount strip lighting, under the shaving cabinets, were added to complete the look.
