Cosentino sensa quartzite

Hi - I was wondering if anyone has used this product and had feedback.

We are keen for a relatively low maintenance natural stone. This seemed to fill the brief.

Otherwise Dolomite/natural stone with Clearstone resin.

Thanks so much

Jane

Hi Jane, the Sensa Natural Stone range by Cosentino is a good product, where they add their own additional proprietary sealer. Their natural stone Quartzite (not to be confused with the man made Reconstituted Stone products also referred to by some as Quartz) is also an extremely hard wearing durable natural stone much the same as Granite.

The only 2 things you should check with choosing Quartzite are 1) check the slab size availability of the type of Quartzite you have chosen because Quartzite Slabs can sometimes be smaller than Granite, Dolomite and Limestone slabs, which can then affect placement of joints and 2) if you are selecting a Quartzite with a strong straight grain like the White Macubus then consider how this looks at any 90 degree corner junctions you may have in your project.

    Hope this helps, Malcolm.
