On the point re making sure your whites match (cabinet colour and walls) is it fair to assume Vivid White should match or at least not clash with another white because it has no other colour in it? Its a pure white?

No that wouldn’t be a safe assumption. Vivid white can make white cabinetry look cream or yellow.

Omg this is so hard. I can paint my cabinetry any dulux so maybe I just do both wall and cabinetry vivid white and be done with it.

You could also pick your cupboards and then have the white paint colour matched if you want another choice. You need to consider the colour as part of your whole house colour scheme. There is a poster on here who is building a lovely house but is struggling towards the end because their selections aren’t quite as cohesive as they would have liked.

Have you spoken to dulux yet

Yes I spoke to Dulux but didnt pay for colour consult so was only given general advice. was also told vividwhite should go with everything hence my earlier question but it does throw cream when i look at it so i agree with bigreader i need to be careful. but then white on white looks so grey to me.

I have just now submitted an online enquiry for a dulux online consult. Would love an in person consult but house was knocked down so dont see much point as they wont be sble to see the space properly. thank you all.
