Hi all,

I have a coastal banksia which I bought mature ~2.5m and planted in Dec 2022 and is now ~3.0m. It is West facing and gets a decent amount of afternoon Sun.

I have started to notice some of the leaves at the bottom are yellowing and becoming droopy. Is this expected? The growth at the top looks very health.

I water it via a drip system 2 a week when it isn’t raining. I gave it a good dose of seasol when I planted it but haven’t fed it anything since.
