James Hardie Axon Smooth vs Grain

I'm having trouble deciding between James Hardie Axon cladding in smooth vs grain. Which looks aesthetically better and easier to maintain and keep clean? I'm worried the grain texture may trap dirt and dust.

I’d go smooth for the reasons you’ve mentioned. The grain is an attempt to look like wood and faux finishes are rarely the best option.
