If this is your home now and not a real estate photo, invest in a black dining setting. There are too many different wood tones in this photo. The dining suite is not a tone that looks good in this room, with the light kitchen and the very busy flooring. Without removing the entire current flooring, keep the different surfaces the same colour....black.
The colour of the flooring could be deceptive on the screen but it will be a very hard colour and pattern to work with. It will never look cohesive with the cabinetry and the light grey walls. Your choices will be limited. But it depends on what you are trying to achieve.
As suggested black will look beautiful and compliment and tone down the floors, add textured neutral rugs, earthy colours in cushions and throws, black lamps, great artwork, black kitchen stools, could look great.
Thank you for your replies. I am collecting the ideas for home styling. We are moving next month so I don’t have actual pictures. Bit confused with what furniture and wall color suits the floor.
