Did you do something special to seal the Calcutta Marble? It is gorgeous and is what I want, but the stone yards keep telling me “don’t do it, they will stain and etch.”

Hi- there is not anything different you can do to seal Calacutta marble. It will be susceptible to staining and etching so it is something you will need to accept if you decide to go with Calacutta. We do, however, always recommend the countertop be honed, not polished. A honed finish will minimize the appearance of the scratching and etching. I hope this helps!
