Generally similar in price. The base Matt laminate maybe a bit cheaper but it will depend on what current deals your kitchen supplier has and so they’re the best person to ask. There are articles talking about the two if you Google them.

Laminex and Polytec have the same products, just different brand name and colours. They are both laminate products. If you need to reduce the cost, then step back to Polytec standard not Polytec evolution. Both brands have a similar range, so get a quote for the equivalent product Polytec evolution in the Laminex brand.

The Polytec Evolution range is what they call their Polytec Factory made to order doors range. The "Range" includes their basic Laminates in different finishes but also includes those materials from their Gloss Createc material, & from their Venette finger resistant Matte board, and from their Ultraglaze Acrylic board range (not laminate material). All these material types are different & so also have different price points so it depends which of these materials you are looking to use compared to Laminex Industries Factory made door range of different "material types". As a general rule regarding price, we have found Polytec to be more more competitive, and not only in their pricing but also with range, quality, back-up, sales support and supply across all their products.
