Need some suggestions
Could someone kindly provide me with suggestions on how to aesthetically enhance and optimize the layout of this confined space I currently inhabit, where all aspects of my living arrangements coexist in a singular room? Within this room, I possess a wardrobe, which greets me upon entering. I am eager to embark upon a journey of embellishment and organization, but regrettably, I find myself at a loss for creative direction. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Comments (30)Ozbern: we had a similar dilemma, lovely backyard and then they started tearing down bungalows and building four story townhouses all around us. I built a single depth pergola along the back property line, the beauty of this is not only the privacy, but it brings the scale of the yard down to make it feel more intimate when we are outside. We also added a 10' x 10' (little over three meters) pergola right up against the house where we had a wall of windows. Will try to find that photo too. We have coral vine now growing in it. Comments (3)I assume the windows abut in the corner? This would make it tricky to have romans as they would probably clash when both drawn up. Curtains drawing away from the corners add softness to a dining area, but make them floor length as short curtains look a bit half mast. Comments (3)Where is your house? Low maintenance plants depend on the zone. I wouldn't plant in your rock skirt. Ideally you'd put your rock skirt around the house and then planting beds outside of that. The skirt keeps mud and dirt off the house and let's you spray for bugs etc. since your skirt runs right up to the driveway on that side, I think your options for plants would be some large pots or window boxes. I'd paint your foundation the same color as your grout in the brick to help it blend in....See Morebigreader

9 months agoAnd if you look closely they are inspiration photos of single room apartments, it’s just how you want to use the space and clever shopping for space saving furniture, a couch that doubles as a bed, a table and chairs that cleverly take up little space, a wall desk and tv, deciding on a fridge, it’s going to be a challenge but with careful planning it’s possible.
