Close enough but I also like it in the black. I do wonder about functionality of the light in a study situation- what are you having for task lighting?

We have older furniture in the room at present which will be replaced in the coming months including desk lighting.

There’s also a big north-facing window in the room on the right wall which brings lots of light into the room. It’s mostly used as an office during the day.

We had a new wardrobe installed in our main bedroom earlier in the year and used hardware in bronze to tie in with the existing light fitting in the room and it worked really well.

How many of the handles are you going to have ? I ask for two reasons --

If its only 1 or two , they will be physically distanced from the light , so hardly noticable if slightly different . On that note too , are you going to have similar toned desk lights , door handles , even chair legs , window hardware , etc ? If they are all chrome or aluminium or black , stick with that .

But back to 'just' the handles , if you have say 12 drawers on a desk and drawers and filing cabinets , having a light a slightly different goldy brassy shade on the main light , won't make a huge difference , but again what about everything else -- the door handle , the reading light , the office chair ?

There are four handles (two pairs). I haven’t chosen the other furniture items yet but hoping to have some brass accents (small items) to tie in with the colour without being too much. The internal door handles are brushed nickel.
