You can follow watch for on sale drapery until you can get a lot that is the same. Put the rod at the same height over the mirror as it is over the window. You might paint an inspirational quote at the top of the mirror in the dark coral (using a stencil) so that you visually fill the space between the top of the mirror and the top of the window. You could get a sample size of pale green paint the color of the green in the bedding to paint an extra piece of furniture that you need that isn't quite right. Hey there. Go for a cooler colour palette and draw the eye to a focal point at the end of the hallway, a console table, artwork, a mirror etc. A cooler paint colour helps the small space visually recede. In terms of the doors, going slighter darker will again make the space feel bigger. Go half a shade lighter on the low ceiling than the walls, using the same colour, rather than bright white, which will look dirty in the low light. Good luck!

The house is in desperate need of a refresh and we are struggling to pick the colour scheme to complement the features. The design of the house is quite busy with the use of yellow bricks, timber and rough cast. The main feature differs depending on which side of house we're looking at: - front: bricks, timber and rough cast - sides: mostly bricks & timber - back: mostly bricks & timber We are not wanting to paint the bricks at this stage and would love some help with chosing the colours to make it more modern!
