Help with Bathroom Layout!
Hi all
Wife and I are trying to determine the best layout for our bathroom renovation and not 100% happy with both.
I've attached two options, happy to hear other options if you have some good ideas.
Room Size: 3000 x 2100
Toilet shares a wall with door wall.
Note we have just used the Reece Bathroom planner so actual Tile Colours, fixtures and fittings choices is all whats available and just i've placed whatever.

If it was my space, I'd switch the bathroom and the laundry room around, keeping just one of the walls currently enclosing the toilet. Comments (14)We have a 900x900 shower and it's plenty big enough. Neither of your proposed layouts looks that great, to be perfectly honest, sorry! In the first layout, you could improve it quite a lot by swapping the toilet and vanity (centre the toilet under the window on the bottom right of the picture if possible), and having the shower door on the other wall (beside the door). Then, you could have a towel rail on the wall beside the door (i.e. behind the door when it's open), which would be accessible from the shower but hidden when the door was open. An 800x1200 shower might be a good size for your space. You'd have to choose a toilet that doesn't protrude too far, plus a narrow vanity. With that layout, you could have a long but narrow wall-hung vanity, with a big mirror covering the wall between the windows, which would make the room feel bigger and would give a good amount of storage. @bigreader - thanks - do you think 700 would be sufficient? yes 900 but because its long I'm hoping it won't feel tight. And no, not wedded to the open shower.

If the window is water proof then any height is okay. But, for privacy a horizontal highlight window would suit your needs. Unless there is a view you want to see while sitting in the bath?

This is an example of Kate’s second option, ignore the toilet. This shows a smaller window than you currently have, but similar height position. This is layout example only, not aesthetic.

thanks everyone - basically this layout... and decide on which way to reduce the window ie shape of the red, or the blue.
we live on the second floor with no back neighbours looking in (close by) and with privacy glass wouldn't be an issue to have the blue window.
