@Kate you mean the original drawing not my markup. the original plan is oke then we thought just by removing the WIR at the master we can gain a lot of space in the Bed3, also create a WC(especially move the toilet out of the common bath) plus a larger master. more linen/storage space etc. bigger showers, vanity.
With both bathrooms/toilets being above your kitchen area, make sure you consult with the builder as to where your plumbing ducts will be. As your plan shows the toilet noise and waste may have to be through the kitchen. Sound proofing the ceiling/ floor needs to be done correctly. Nothing worse than hearing the flushing of toilets and shower water above where your eating.
@oklouise thanks for the drawing, but the bathroom design is not common here and not very appealing by the look eventhgough its very practical, more like a hotel setup. i like the master setup but it does make the master bedroom very small. plus we cannot change the windows anymore are townplanning is done, only internal changes are allowed
Over here, we go for function over form. Practical daily use for all occupants. You have potentially 4 people to use the shared bathroom. Therefore separate toilet with a door, and access to a vanity is more convenient than a toilet in a room where people are brushing their teeth.
unfortunately i dont think there is enough space to accommodate a WC and WIR together without reducing the bedroom size, for a master we are looking atleast 4x4m and other beds minimum 3.2x3.2
