Does the screen protect people sitting on the porch from the wind? We

We only spend 2-3 months at our summer place so turning it into a glass/screened in porch is rather expensive. At first I was looking for something that would not block the view but after much research, it appears that you really do have to go glass.
So, if there was a way to block most of the wind even if it hides the beautiful view, it would at least allow us to sit outside and eat outside on the deck.
Do any of your screens provide at least some wind protection?

    Hi Chrystyna Alexander,

The best screen for wind protection is our motorised executive screen. The executive screen is fitted with a zip down the side to allow it to stay still in windier conditions. The real plus compared to glass is that when it isn't too windy you can retract the screen and let air in. The screen is also available with a range of mesh types to let as much light and scenery through as you would like. Obviously our screens are not made for wind breaking purposes so we do not recommend them being used when the winds are very strong but for lighter breezes they will work perfectly.

We hope this answers your question, for more information please visit our site: http://www.phantom-fly-screens.co.uk/executive-power-screen-up-to-6m-wide.html

    Thanks :)
