J and C - Kitchens, beyond plain white
76" bench from Crate and Barrel. If there's room for it, it could stick out either side of table for easy sitting, (with no table) or if table is expanded, it could provide more table seating. Also comes in 58" bench. I like the color "Luxe," (not shown here but on swatch). Best with leg colors pecan (light) sienna (medium) or fossil (dark)--all good with red. Depends on rest of room/table. Stock color flannel legs also okay.
We think this is gorgeous.Lots of impact from wood/black/white/brown/cream. If we could translate something like this (I know it cost a gazillion dollars) into our house, that would be fab. Both glamorous and rustic. Don't especially like gray tile backsplash. I do like the blending of lots of neutrals to get different values (lights and darks). I also like oxblood bench. I have found a 76" plain upholstered bench that comes in a variety of deep reds. Of course, dramatic lighting has a big impact, too. We don't have the soaring white wall above cabinets, so the dark cabinets above would probably be too heavy in our house.
