It's hard to believe this was once a small, drab, 50's-era tract home. Our client, an artist, loved the location but wanted a modern, unique look with more space for her to work. We added over 2,000 square feet of living space including a studio with its own bathroom and a laundry/potting room. The cramped old-fashioned kitchen was opened up to the living area to create a high-ceiling great room. Outside, a new driveway, patio and walkway incorporate brightly colored surfaces as a contrast to the abundant greenery of the garden.

This couple picked out waterproof luxury vinyl flooring by Hallmark Floors for their bathroom floor. The color of the floor has a great blend between the richness of the brown and the coolness of the gray.

An antique sink basin from the original cottage on the property serves and a vanity for our vessel sink. Because this bath has no natural light, it designed with white floors and white walls to be sure it didn't feel dark. Striped blue tile lines the tub walls providing a much needed punch of color. A soft blue was painted on the sink basin and its coordinating sink ledge. The small round mirror was also original to the cottage, so many parts of this room have sentimental value.

Exquisite Powder Room designed with damask silk fabric. Imported marble was designed on top of an 18th century console. Sheryl Wagner faucets compliment a drop in sink. Custom moldings were created with decorative artistry to embellish and accent the room.
