Great American Landscapes
Our friends at Premier Ponds introduced us to the homeowner after they installed the water feature. The homeowner worked with designer Jane Luce with ‘The Art of Landscape’ to draw up the perfect plan. We installed steppingstones, boulders, decorative gravel, along with many specimen trees and shrubs provided by Susanna Farms. This Asian style garden is sure to transport our clients into the realm of ultimate relaxation.

Decomposed granite path with added flagstone that surrounds the tree in the property.
Thrive Landscape And Design
We designed this informal, Asian inspired Zen garden with curved gravel paths, sitting areas with a fire pit, bamboo, and Japanese red maple. Their back yard was too shady to grow good grass so we made a great hang out space for them. Cutters Landscaping installed this project.

This compact, urban backyard was in desperate need of privacy. We created a series of outdoor rooms, privacy screens, and lush plantings all with an Asian-inspired design sense. Elements include a covered outdoor lounge room, sun decks, rock gardens, shade garden, evergreen plant screens, and raised boardwalk to connect the various outdoor spaces. The finished space feels like a true backyard oasis.
TBO'S GREEN LANDSCAPE SYSTEMS
This zen garden was one of our favourite projects. Dry stacked walls, brick pavers, a custom water feature running under a bridge, cedar lattices & arbors, statuesque evergreens and Asian sculptures. Check out more of our photos, or contact us for a quote.

Jay Sifford Garden Design
This was previously a weedy opening in a forest, located at the back of a suburban backyard. The homeowners, a veterinarian and a teacher, wanted to create a habitat that encouraged the presence of song birds, amphibians and reptiles. We built a shallow 'artificial swamp' along with a yatsuhashi-style boardwalk that cantilevers over the water at the far end. The plant palette consists of native grasses, pollinator-friendly perennials, shrubs that provide food and cover for song birds, and structural specimen plants. Newly installed 9/16.
