The main reason for remodeling this bathroom was the desire for a larger shower. We removed the large oversized tiled tub surround and redesigned this bath to have a smaller freestanding tub and a large neo-angle shower. The new corner shower with great tile work and beautiful clear glass surround is now the focal point of this new bath. The Colonial White granite vanity top along with the toilet half wall cap and the shower wall caps and seat coordinate nicely with the rest of the rooms color tones.

Contemporary Black Guest Bathroom With Floating Shelves. Black is an unexpected palette in this contemporary guest bathroom. The dark walls are contrasted by a light wood vanity and wood floating shelves. Brass hardware adds a glam touch to the space.

We transformed a Georgian brick two-story built in 1998 into an elegant, yet comfortable home for an active family that includes children and dogs. Although this Dallas home’s traditional bones were intact, the interior dark stained molding, paint, and distressed cabinetry, along with dated bathrooms and kitchen were in desperate need of an overhaul. We honored the client’s European background by using time-tested marble mosaics, slabs and countertops, and vintage style plumbing fixtures throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. We balanced these traditional elements with metallic and unique patterned wallpapers, transitional light fixtures and clean-lined furniture frames to give the home excitement while maintaining a graceful and inviting presence. We used nickel lighting and plumbing finishes throughout the home to give regal punctuation to each room. The intentional, detailed styling in this home is evident in that each room boasts its own character while remaining cohesive overall.

An updated master bath with hints of traditional styling really helped create the perfect oasis for these empty nesters. This homeowner’s master bathroom was a very popular style during the 90’s. Although, white can make a space feel larger, the bathroom was bland and needed an update. Soft neutral walls, marble tile throughout and shaker style Waypoint Cabinets, make this elegant bathroom a perfect place to wake up in the morning and unwind at night. There are many features in this bathroom that we love. The veining pattern of the beautiful White Carrara marble tops and tub deck added just the right amount of contrast to this bathroom. Honed Bianco Perla Marble tiles were used in the shower and on the floor. The frameless shower reveals the finer details of this design with a basket weave tile accent band on the shower back wall, basket weave tile in the niche and on the shower floor. Bullnose tile was used to frame the window instead of wood trim and was also used inside the niche. Expansive framed mirrors enlarge the room and reflect back the window light and the beauty of the shower and tub. Heated floor mats beneath the tiles with programmable thermostat are unseen but will be highly appreciated by this home owner. No more walking on cold tiles!
