We completed this beautiful bathroom renovation early January 2024. Our client has been gradually updating their home and felt the bathroom was one of the more pivotal spaces needing an update (the home had never been renovated since it was built in the 60s). The original alcove tub felt closed in and congested so we decided to change to a corner tub with a corner glass to give the space a more open feeling. The MDF painted vanity was built custom to fit our clients traditional tastes. An interesting feature in this project was the tub overflow, which is a new OS&B product that allows for the overflow to serve as a filler for a spoutless look.

The master bathroom features a custom flat panel vanity with Caesarstone countertop, onyx look porcelain wall tiles, patterned cement floor tiles and a metallic look accent tile around the mirror, over the toilet and on the shampoo niche.

The shower floor is designed in a Skyline Honed 1 x 1 Hexagon Marble Mosaic tile. Complementing the shower floor and tile walls, as well as creating a striking contrast, the existing vanity was replaced with a custom dual floating vanity from Dura Supreme Cabinetry, finished in Maple Shell Gray. The vanity is topped with a gorgeous Torquay Cambria quartz countertop and accented with Top Knobs black hardware. Two Helios rectangular frameless mirrors with integrated LED lighting and a Kohler recessed medicine cabinet complete this stunning contemporary bathroom remodel.

Clients added 1,200 sf of bonus room and new master bedroom/bathroom suite to the south end of their existing house.

Complete bathroom remodel Summer 2013. This bath offers generous space without going overboard in square footage. The homeowner chose to go with a large double vanity, a nice shower with custom features a shower seat. We decided to keep the existing tub and deck it with carrara marble. The vanity area shown in this photo has plenty of storage for bathroom appliances in the tower. Below the mirrored wall cabinets we added a open towel storage space below. The mirrors were cased out with the matching woodwork, crown detail and carrara tile mosaics on each side. The countertop is Carrara slab marble with undermount Marzi sinks. The Kallista faucets are wall mounted, we was chosen in chrome since it was an easier finish to maintain for years to come. The floor tile is a 20 x 20 Silver Strand with a Carrara Marble strip set in straight. The backsplash to the vanity is the companion carrara mosaic random. Vaulted ceilings add to the dramatic feel of this bath. The polished nickel Restoration glass globe chandelier also adds to the dramatic glamor of the bath. The shower has three zones function, with a polished gray porcelain tile, mixed with split face white marble and carrara marble mosaics. This luxury bath sets its residence in Houston Texas.

When it’s time to update the master bath, don’t settle for anything less than WOW. From the crushed glass accent tile to the custom radius glass shower enclosure, this bath is a much deserved luxury for every-day use. Removal of an existing steam shower and oversized tub allowed for a more open and spacious design incorporating optimal water views. The richness of the dark cabinetry contrasts with the lightly textured tile. Custom designed front lift storage cabinet allows easy access to grooming supplies. To soften the light and give privacy, Hunter Douglas Silhouette shades were installed on these corner windows. Silhouette shades filter the light entering the room, and the vanes can be closed for privacy. To soften the hard surfaces in this bathroom, a sheer, casually draped swag treatment was artfully draped on stainless steel drapery hardware from the Aria Hardware collection..

The wall was opened up to give more light into the master bedroom. Barn doors give the bedroom and bathroom a rustic feel.
