Housed in a heritage Georgian townhouse near London’s Hyde Park, this project provided a prime opportunity to integrate a subtly luxurious aesthetic into a graceful historic apartment that was once immortalised in the ‘70s in artist David Hockney’s Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy. Light materials such as Calcutta marble, subtly patterned wallpapers and tiling, and a neutral colour palette were carefully orchestrated so as to not detract from the original double-height Victorian windows and intricate cornices, while striking furniture pieces by Jonathan Adler, Flos, Bert Frank, Coltex, and Cole & Son add a dose of mid-century flair. The result is a space that has been refreshed along modern sensibilities while retaining a sensitivity to its old-world charm.

Ein Bad für die Familie, mit ausreichend Stauraum, und modern mit warmen Farben. So war der Wunsch des Bauherren. Nun der Raum war nicht allzu groß, es sollten jedoch Badewanne und eine großzügige Dusche werden. Die Dusch hat eine Sitzbank bekommen, der WC Spülkasten wurde mit einer Nische versehen, und Badewanne wurde mit offenen Regal und Nische ausgestattet. Zwischen Wanne und Waschbecken wurde noch eine Sitzfläche untegebracht

With purpose in mind, the primary bathroom was transformed into a spa-like retreat. Dated wallpaper was removed and replaced with soothing cream color paint and gold fixtures. The bathroom features copious linen storage, a walk-in shower, and his and her vanities that are custom designed with dark maple Dura Supreme cabinetry in a Java finish and topped with Crema Marfil marble countertops. Elegant touches include: -Brilliance Luxe Gold faucets -A Vibrant Gold Chandelier by Crystorama -Double-wall brass sconces by Mariana Home -Gold framed mirrors

The master bath was redesigned to incorporate a separate water closet and a walking shower. A built in curved vanity was removed to accommodate a large soaking tub. Coastal blues continued to make an appearance in the painted vanity and backsplash tile carried throughout the shower.

A refresh for a Berlin Altbau bathroom. Our design features soft sage green wall tile laid in a straight set pattern with white and grey circle patterned floor tiles and accents. We closed off one door way to make this bathroom more spacious and give more privacy to the previously adjoining room. Even though all the plumbing locations stayed in the same place, this space went through a great transformation resulting in a relaxing and calm bathroom. The modern fixtures include a “Dusch-WC” (shower toilet) from Tece that saves the space of installing both a toilet and a bidet and this model uses a hot water intake instead of an internal heater which is better for the budget and uses no electricity.
