The second floor or this design/build was developed specifically as the kids area of the home. With two colorful bathrooms, four large bedrooms, a T.V. area and a play room, this second floor is any kids dream get away from their parents.

This mid century modern home, built in 1957, suffered a fire and poor repairs over twenty years ago. A cohesive approach of restoration and remodeling resulted in this newly modern home which preserves original features and brings living spaces into the 21st century. A Portland guest bath uses a playful black and white floor tile to create a fun space. The flush panel vanity cabinet drawers, painted in Sherwin-Williams Iron Ore, contrast the sleek white quartz countertop and Alabaster wall color.

Our Minneapolis homeowners love their 1928 home, which is why they chose to continue making it their own into their new stage of retirement and to fit their new lifestyle.. With the new journey ahead they desired to update their home to fit their lifestyle. In this particular room, it was important for our homeowners to update their upper level guest bathroom to imitate and incorporate classic tiles that could be found in a bathroom built during the homes original era. Italian Carrera tiles combined with gray toned one-inch tiles create contrast beside the Benjanmin Moore's Rock Gray color distributed on the walls. The simple and classic look of a DXV Wyatt console sink adds a fashionable feel to this space, as well as immediate shelving below. Interiors by Brown Cow Design. The use of compact fixtures was the only way to make this bathroom fit. The corner baby tub is the perfect size for one child and converts to a stand up shower when baby is older. The tank for the toilet is contained within the wall providing much needed extra inches in front of the bowl and giving the illusion of more floor space. The mirrors on the wall are positioned to resemble a paw print. The addition of blue and green accents keeps the white bathroom from becoming too stark.
