The objective for this Get-A-Way was to create an oasis inspired by natural elements. By adding a luxurious soaking bath and shower to their detached studio above the garage, we created a calming, spa-like retreat for the homeowners to relax and enjoy after riding horses or spending time outdoors. The space also doubles as a guest house, where they now have a waitlist.

This remodeled bathroom exists within a silo attached to the client's home. We kept the footprint as is and updated the cabinet layout, employed a small farmhouse sink, gooseneck plumbing fixture and sconce, minimized the mirror, local crackle subway tiles, water efficient comfort height toilet, introduced a handheld shower held, better and more efficient lighting plan, removed carpet all while giving the look of washed wood with tiled planks.

Guest bathroom had a big facelift when we re-strored the original essex tub. We had the tub painted grey legs dipped in polished nickel and new fittings. Tom Silva built the wainscot walls that I had painted in high gloss white and the walls in a egg yolk yellow. The floors are a hexagon marble floor.
NRC HOMES
This bathroom is part of the new second story. The traditional finishes -- hexagonal penny tile on the floor, subway tile on the shower walls -- fit right in with the rest of the house.

You can never go wrong with classic white subway tile! This matte 3x6 subway tile from Daltile's Rittenhouse Square collection provides the perfect backdrop in this kids' bath. Convenient pie shelves are the perfect perch for shampoo, and maybe even for a cellphone? All the kids are texting and showering these days.

This small bathroom remodel was designed by Nicole from our Windham showroom. This bathroom features a small corner vanity with shaker door style and medium brown stain finish. This remodel also features a marble countertop that is integrated as a sink with white color and a standard square edge. Other features include oil rubbed bronze plumbing fixtures, a two-piece toilet, shower/bathtub combination set and with power jets.
Classic Home Improvements
This small hall bathroom remodel got a modern updated look with porcelain floor tiles and modern vanities and countertops. The shower has pops of color with beautiful, colorful liners and beautiful tile. John Gerson. Gerson Photograpy
