A barn door was the perfect solution for this bathroom entry. There wasn't enough depth for a traditional swinging one and there is a large TV mounted on the wall in the bathroom, so a pocket door wouldn't work either. Had to choose the 3 panel frosted glass to relate to the window configuration- obvi!

On a hillside property in Santa Monica hidden behind trees stands our brand new constructed from the grounds up guest unit. This unit is only 300sq. but the layout makes it feel as large as a small apartment. Vaulted 12' ceilings and lots of natural light makes the space feel light and airy. A small kitchenette gives you all you would need for cooking something for yourself, notice the baby blue color of the appliances contrasting against the clean white cabinets and counter top. The wood flooring give warmth to the neutral white colored walls and ceilings. A nice sized bathroom bosting a 3'x3' shower with a corner double door entrance with all the high quality finishes you would expect in a master bathroom. The exterior of the unit was perfectly matched to the existing main house. These ADU (accessory dwelling unit) also called guest units and the famous term "Mother in law unit" are becoming more and more popular in California and in LA in particular.

For this classic San Francisco William Wurster house, we complemented the iconic modernist architecture, urban landscape, and Bay views with contemporary silhouettes and a neutral color palette. We subtly incorporated the wife's love of all things equine and the husband's passion for sports into the interiors. Some spaces, like this bathroom, simply needed a little face lift so we made some changes to personalize the look for our clients. The framed, beveled mirror is actually a recessed medicine cabinet with hidden storage! On either side of the mirror are linear, modern, etched-glass and black metal light fixtures. Marble is seen throughout the home and we added it here as a backsplash. The new faucet compliments the lighting above.

Although the Kids Bathroom was reduced in size by a few feet to add additional space in the Master Bathroom, you would never suspect it! Because of the new layout and design selections, it now feels even larger than before. We chose light colors for the walls, flooring, cabinetry, and tiles, as well as a large mirror to reflect more light. A custom linen closet with pull-out drawers and frosted glass elevates the design while remaining functional for this family. For a space created to work for a teenage boy, teen girl, and pre-teen girl, we showcase that you don’t need to sacrifice great design for functionality!

The clients enlisted our Project Management services for the interior design and implementation of this renovation. We wanted to create a calming space and create the illusion of a bigger bathroom. This is the master bathroom shower. We expanded the bathroom area by taking over the upstairs apartment kitchen when we combined apartments. This shower features a teak wood shower floor for a luxurious feel under foot. Also in teak is the shower nook for soaps and bottles.
