This bathroom construction project in a single-family house in Chicago’s Old Irving Park neighborhood is the perfect example of using innovative design solutions in a small space. We added a skylight to increase the sense of openness and the vanity mirror and stone countertop were custom-built to fit the bathroom’s dimensions. Other design touches include glass mosaic tiles in the shower and heated floors.

Closet before Emrich makeover was a Home Depot special with wire shelves and terrible paint.

Custom double vanity with tall storage cabinet pullouts on each end. In-set Shaker style doors and drawers with soft close under-mount drawer glides. Ceasar Stone Quartz, Signature Hardware porcelain under-mount sinks, Kohler mirrored medicine cabinets with matching stained trim, Pfister Deckard single handle vanity faucets, LED vanity lights, and Jeffery Alexander cabinet hardware in a pewter finish!

The star of this master bath remodel is the beautiful mosaic tiles used in the backsplash, shower accent, and shower floor. The blend of blues, ambers, and browns gives the room a beachy feel. The new slate look tile floor has radiant heating installed beneath to keep the space cozy and warm. A large vanity with tower cabinet provides plenty of storage for necessities and linens.

A spa bathroom built for true relaxation. The stone look tile and warmth of the teak accent wall bring together a combination that creates a serene oasis for the homeowner.

The decision to preserve this bathroom's original wood panel ceiling, complete with two sky lights, made the space more contemporary and unique. An intricate hanging chandelier is a more classical touch.
