Bronze Green family bathroom with dark rusty red slipper bath, marble herringbone tiles, cast iron fireplace, oak vanity sink, walk-in shower and bronze green tiles, vintage lighting and a lot of art and antiques objects!

New Bathroom in Palo Alto Traditional Home Renovation. Custom cherry cabinets with polished nickel fixtures. Three sconces with shades are interspersed with the custom mirrors. The reflections in the mirrors show the french doors leading to a balcony, the shower with traditional plumbing fixtures, a skylight, and a large built-in cabinet.

This project was such a joy! From the craftsman touches to the handmade tile we absolutely loved working on this bathroom. While taking on the bathroom we took on other changes throughout the home such as stairs, hardwood, custom cabinetry, and more.

This tiny bathroom had a major renovation, we ripped out the built in fiberglass tub and added tile to the walls, and a claw foot tub. There was also originally a corner sink, we ripped that out and replaced with a vanity with storage beneath.

After photo of shower. Removal of the bench/shelf resulted in a net gain of 8" in the shower making if feel more open and less confined. The clear 3/8" glass enclosure using little metal added the feeling of more depth and expanse to the space. Where necessary bronze metal was used to match the bronze fixtures. Farmhouse shabby chic house with traditional, transitional, and modern elements mixed. Shiplap reused and white paint material palette combined with original hard hardwood floors, dark brown painted trim, vaulted ceilings, concrete tiles and concrete counters, copper and brass industrial accents.
