Primary bath update

This antique dresser was given new purpose by implementing it as a bathroom vanity. Built into the wall, and custom tiled, this piece is the star against a green multi toned tiled bathroom wall with a flush mirror and black and gold sconces.

Crisp tones of maple and birch. The enhanced bevels accentuate the long length of the planks.

A master bath renovation that involved a complete re-working of the space. A custom vanity with built-in medicine cabinets and gorgeous finish materials completes the look.

In the primary bath, a collaborative effort resulted in a serene retreat featuring mirrored accents to enhance brightness and eliminate the need for traditional vanity lights. By eschewing a built-in tub and opting for minimalist design elements, the space exudes a sense of tranquility and harmony.

This kids bath has fun and bold triangular teal tile in the combination tub/shower. The vanity cabinet is white oak, with tapered feet, and 6 drawers. A quartz countertop is durable and stain-resistant. Chrome plumbing is low-maintenance. A large mirror over the vanity expands the space, bouncing light from the window around. An enclosed toilet room means that multiple kids can use the bathroom at the same time.

In this bathroom reno in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, highly functional vanity cabinets were already doing a great job of meeting the homeowner’s storage needs. It’s just that they were a dated dark brown wood color and a bit scuffed up. These cabinets, coupled with frosted closet doors on the opposite wall, made for a luxe washing and dressing area in the homeowner’s en suite bathroom. So why spend money and create waste replacing these elements when we can refresh them? A charcoal paint and new chrome hardware on the cabinets and a fresh white wall paint in the room makes the existing surfaces look good as new. Then, to truly update and brighten the space, we specified new sinks and faucets and bright white picket-shaped tile to be installed up to the ceiling. The quartz countertop has a stunning black vein running across the white surface and special care was taken to template this top so that the most striking part of the veining would be visible between the sinks on this double vanity. A header above the mirror that hid a fluorescent light tube was demolished to allow the ceiling to soar and we instead installed stylish linear vanity lights and a large black framed mirror. We know the world works in mysterious ways – we were reminded of this when two very distinct clients paired feature green subway tiles with a terrazzo looking floor tile AT THE SAME TIME with black tap ware and wooden vanities. We claim credit in the plumbing, carpentry, waterproofing and tiling, but not the design. Our preferred marine grade tiled shower base was installed onto substrate flooring. The vanity and bath plumbing were both reconfigured to suit the new layout. Plantation blinds have since been installed to round off this lovely bathroom.

A small cottage bathroom was enlarged to incorporate a freestanding shower bath, painted to match the beautiful Peacock Blue furniture.

Large Owner’s bathroom and closet renovation in West Chester PA. These clients wanted to redesign the bathroom with 2 closets into a new bathroom space with one large closet. We relocated the toilet to accommodate for a hallway to the bath leading past the newly enlarged closet. Everything about the new bath turned out great; from the frosted glass toilet room pocket door to the nickel gap wall treatment at the vanity. The tiled shower is spacious with bench seat, shampoo niche, rain head, and frameless glass. The custom finished double barn doors to the closet look awesome. The floors were done in Luxury Vinyl and look great along with being durable and waterproof. New trims, lighting, and a fresh paint job finish the look.
