With two young children in the family, this forward-thinking couple wanted to convert their generous second-floor bath into a beautiful, truly functional bathroom. Doubling as a guest bath, it will serve their young children for years to come. Designed/photographed by Greg Schmidt.

A stunning whole house renovation of a historic Georgian colonial, that included a marble master bath, quarter sawn white oak library, extensive alterations to floor plan, custom alder wine cellar, large gourmet kitchen with professional series appliances and exquisite custom detailed trim through out.

This bathroom was a full gut-job. Transforming it from an old, tired beige-and-pink space to a cool, mid-deco retreat. We weren’t able to gain any more square footage, so we maximized storage using vertical space, drawers and smart shower shelving cut from marble slabs. The finishes were inspired by the industrial 20s, including subway tile, matte black fixtures and a fun, vibrant pop of (my favourite) colour.

Asian influences in this bath designed by Maraya Interiors. Carved stone bathtub, with ceiling plumbing, behind the tub is an open shower with green Rainforest slabs. The shower floor features pebbles, contrasting with the natural slate floors of the master bath itself. Granite stone vessel sinks sit on a black granite counter, with a teak vanity in this large bath overlooking the city. Designed by Maraya Interior Design. This small Powder Room has an outdoor theme and is wrapped in Pratt and Larson tile wainscoting. The Benjamin Moore Tuscany Green wall color above the tile gives a warm cozy feel to the space

The design team at Bel Atelier selected lovely, sophisticated colors throughout the spaces in this elegant Alamo Heights home. This wallpapered master bath vanity alcove is sheer perfection!

The renovations to the Master Bath captured views of the New York City Skyline. The Silver travertine counters and floor tile give a spa like quality to the room.
