Nancy Finneson | DeMane DesignThis island can swivel or move and the c-top slides from one side to the other! A 1930’s boathouse is renewed with an updated space and new pier, everything inside is new. Some new features include: Nanawalls, tall glass doors fold open completely onto a new deck, a working kitchen with an island that houses a hydraulic can swivel and move around on a whim, a sofa sleeper has double function, a TV is on a swing arm, and tables transform and combine for different needs. It’s a small space everything had to be multi-functional. Storage is a premium, a handcrafted ladder displays quilts when its not being used to access a loft space in a dropped ceiling. With nautical touches the revitalized boathouse shed is now a great place to entertain and watch the sun set on the water.

A small weekend beach resort home for a family of four with two little girls. Remodeled from a funky old house built in the 60's on Oxnard Shores. This little white cottage has the master bedroom, a playroom, guest bedroom and girls' bunk room upstairs, while downstairs there is a 1960s feel family room with an industrial modern style bar for the family's many parties and celebrations. A great room open to the dining area with a zinc dining table and rattan chairs. Fireplace features custom iron doors, and green glass tile surround. New white cabinets and bookshelves flank the real wood burning fire place. Simple clean white cabinetry in the kitchen with x designs on glass cabinet doors and peninsula ends. Durable, beautiful white quartzite counter tops and yes! porcelain planked floors for durability! The girls can run in and out without worrying about the beach sand damage!. White painted planked and beamed ceilings, natural reclaimed woods mixed with rattans and velvets for comfortable, beautiful interiors Project Location: Oxnard, California. The Porch on South MainA room with beachy elegance creates harmony in any home. With powder whites and brilliant blues one cannot help but feel calm in this room. Pillows are a highlight and can be added anywhere enticing guest to have a seat almost anywhere, just like at the beach.
Everything HomeA neutral color palette punctuated by warm wood tones and large windows create a comfortable, natural environment that combines casual southern living with European coastal elegance. The 10-foot tall pocket doors leading to a covered porch were designed in collaboration with the architect for seamless indoor-outdoor living. Decorative house accents including stunning wallpapers, vintage tumbled bricks, and colorful walls create visual interest throughout the space. Beautiful fireplaces, luxury furnishings, statement lighting, comfortable furniture, and a fabulous basement entertainment area make this home a welcome place for relaxed, fun gatherings.

RR RedesignMonrovia residence in old world oranges and greens transformed to light and airy lakeside grays and nautical blues. A fresh and affordable update to worn carpeting is done by layering a soft jute 8x10 rug with an angled cabana striped rug to give a seaside design. A fun rowboat shelf from etsy adds whimsy and functionality to the room. Extra large Pottery Barn blown glass lamps add a nice face lift to the clients existing end tables. Fun accents such as a ball of oyster shells and a striped pom-pom throw bring a fun and relaxed lakeside design.

Seacliff Construction & DesignThe owners of this beachfront retreat wanted a whole-home remodel. They were looking to revitalize their three-story vacation home with an exterior inspired by Japanese woodcraft and an interior the evokes Scandinavian simplicity. Now, the open kitchen and living room offer an energetic space for the family to congregate while enjoying a 360 degree coastal views.
Built-in bunkbeds for six ensure there’s enough sleeping space for visitors, while the outdoor shower makes it easy for beachgoers to rinse off before hitting the deckside hot tub. It was a joy to help make this vision a reality!
