Chasing Arcadia Garden Design
The Sea Garden was a hugely popular show garden at BBC Gardener's World Live. Inspired by Aldeburgh beach in Suffolk, it featured a 'fisherman's hut' which opened up to reveal a vintage style outdoor bar and kitchen, a seat made from an upcycled boat and a sunken chillout zone with sand floor. Driftwood and pebbles continued the coastal theme. All these features could be easily reproduced in a real garden.

Large monolithic architectural details are something we try
and bring into all our projects, it’s these details that allow us
to be looser with wilder with our planting palettes and for
the outcome to still feel considered. In this case, the benches allowed us to terrace the site creating activated zones to higher use of the functionality.

Before we came on site, this stream drained the watershed on coastal Connecticut . We removed the pachysandra that was clogging the waterway, rebuilt the stream bed with large boulders and planted native grasses and perennials.
Nature Designs Landscaping
This beautiful water feature re-design & remodel was for our client's gorgeous home perched on the cliffs of La Jolla, CA. We redesigned & upgraded the existing water system, removed the leaking and dated stream, installed a new natural garden stream (focused on highlighting the 3 granite cored fountains and the tumbling waterfalls), installed new drainage, irrigation, planting & landscape lighting, as well as flagstone "bridges" for the water feature to cross under existing walkways.
