Earlier this year we completed a kitchen, lounge and bedroom refurbishment on behalf of our lovely client, and felt honoured to be called back to also refurbish their dining room into a cosy snug area recently.
When designing the space, we wanted to repeat similar materials, colours and themes that were in the other refurbished areas so that our client's property had flow and harmony.
We replaced the flooring throughout the house and incorporated a gorgeous sisal rug made from the same material as the main lounge and had the space painted in the same colour as the hallway and had a feature wall installed to provide tantalising texture.
Before doing this, we had the side window safely boarded up so that wall lights could be installed and so that the room regained it's symmetry.
Previously, the window provided only a restricted amount of day light due to the neighbouring property obstructing light, and hence, was redundant of it's primary function.
We decided to install wall lights each side of the television to provide additional lighting that did not obstruct the view of the TV.
Overall, the space was transformed into an indulgent yet gloriously cosy room, perfect for snuggling up, watching a film and welcoming those winter nights in.

Drama can come in all shapes, sizes and colors, carrying a coastal theme throughout we choose to continue the ship-lap over the fireplace and add an over sized clock. There will never be a mistake as to what time it is.

Shades of sea, sand, driftwood, and sky create a cool, yet cozy seating area in this airy living room. The pair of matched wing back chairs in soft aquamarine blue offer the perfect spot to curl up with a favorite book. The soft ivory armchair and two overstuffed sofas in a sandy twill fabric allow for plenty of seating during gatherings. A large kitchen bar pass through adds to the open feel and allows the chef to remain part of the action.

Making Room for Peace
Our inspiration board really set the tone for this living room in regards to the overall feel and look… We wanted the space to feel a bit more elegant and romantic than the other rooms in the house, while still being accessible.

Fresh and inviting this room in navy blue and white is both coastal and comfortable.
Warren French Interiors
Interior styling without incurring a huge spend and on a limited time frame; working from a holiday home audit for Fixer Management on how to improve profitability and occupancy at this two bedroom holiday let. Warren French dramatically improved the look and finish of this Victorian cottage by renewing all soft furnishings and installing artwork and accessories.
With the property now showing multiple bookings since its update in 2022, this is an example of how important the interior design is of a holiday home.
A Stylish Life, CA
Our client rents a condo in an awesome location on Mission Bay in San Diego. We wanted to play up the watery hues of her view while staying within her limits as a renter. We painted the space, replaced the interior doors (with landlords permission) and brought in additional furniture and accessories to reflect our client's blend of sophistication and beach charm.
Not wanting to invest in new couches, we rearranged the furniture layout to create a more conversational space. Limited by rental restrictions, we added accessories, a fireplace shelf and beach inspired art throughout the open great room.
