The new Kinloch lodge stands proud, high on the hillside at the world class Jack Nicklaus Golf Resort. No doubt it is one of New Zealand's most iconic destinations, and possibly the most luxurious - Designed by multi-award winning Patterson Architects, with interior design by renowed lodge and hotel designer Virginia Fisher. The design brief was to create a uber-modern version of a Scottish castle to tie in with the Scottish heritage of the Kinloch name. Forte Flooring were selected to create the rough sawn Oak panelling (black and white), which was used on the walls ceilings to give a very-castle like feel. Set alongside lush velvet, fox fur, brass, copper, slate and wool the lodge perfectly achieves an air of modern royalty.

Contracted to photograph multiple projects for Trunk UK (based in Kesh, N. Ireland), this was the most prestigious.
Part of an expansive country estate in Kildare, Ireland, I photographed one of the outlying buildings being developed for hospitality end use.
My client's products were the wooden floors, tiling and some wooden trim integrated within the property to reflect and enhance the original decor of the property.
The project was shot in two days and turnaround from start to delivery of images to client was four working days.
Such a pleasure to experience this grand and historic place.

Large windows with views of Central Park pour light into this modern interpretation of a classic, pre-war Fifth Avenue apartment. The full renovation includes a custom marble entry floor with laser cut Nero Marquina and Bianco Dolomiti patterning that is reflected onto the ceiling. The graphic quality of the foyer and white walls throughout create a stark backdrop for the clients’ eclectic contemporary art collection.

A breathtaking entry allows a moment for quiet contemplation and a place to view fine art. The custom paneled wall transports you from the entry to the living areas of the house. A nearby bar provides a stopping place to sit and talk.

This inner city, heritage home front entry overlooks the city. Expansive windows original to the entry, Crema Marfil and Nero Marquina mosaic marble tile floors nod to the age and character of the home. The red walls, gold glazed ceiling, McGuire bench, antique chest, side tables and bronze Buddah head make this spacious entry warm and welcoming. Photographer: Michael Conner
