Not your average Loft. We've created a fun and unique space in this Loft with a hanging acrylic chair, modular sofa and floating back-lit panels

In addition to the white kitchen renovations, the living room got a much needed update too.
The original high ceilings were so high they were unusable for decor or artwork, and a fireplace was mostly unused.
We installed a large dark grey paneled accent wall (to match the new accent wall in the new formal dining room nearby), to make better use of the space in a stylish, artful way.
In the middle of the room, a stunning minimalist hanging chandelier adds a pop of gold and elegance to the new space.

This is a great living space with amazing splashes of color. It features a custom sectional, custom cocktail ottoman, custom colored paint splatter rug, unique are and custom window treatments.
Lynne Lawson's Decorating Den Interiors
Lynne and Laura took advantage of the architectural features of this tall family room in Olney, MD and designed 2 seating areas to optimize space. They selected a warm gray, teal and taupe color scheme from the bold ikat print fabric used in the stationary drapery panels. They accentuated the ceilings with a deep warm gray. A large warm gray sectional with teal pillows, and with pale gray lounge chairs provide TV watching seating. Dark wing chairs, x-base bench, and accents behind the sectional, and bright pillows and artwork throughout add liveliness.

The home’s contemporary décor stemmed from the homeowner's desire for a neutral palette and timeless interior with function and style that is also warm and welcoming. The design works well for entertaining friends and family. The sectional sofas allow ample seating for the family to enjoy each other’s company without overpowering the rooms. The fireplace in the family room was outdated red brick, oversized and damaged. We transformed the fireplace and essentially the room by scaling it down, adding additional square footage to the room, and installing a calacatta marble herringbone tile, providing a timeless, classic focal point.

This space is part of an open concept Kitchen/Family room . Various shades of gray, beige and white were used throughout the space. The poplar wood cocktail table adds a touch of warmth and helps to give the space an inviting look.
