Dig Your Garden Landscape Design
Napa, CA residence, adjacent to a steep rock hillside. My design solutions included a contemporary redwood horizontal fence to help screen the view of the hillside along with arbors for vines that help to break up the long narrow space. I designed a triangular-shaped pergola with decorative panels from "Parasoleil" that serves as an artful focal point while providing interesting shade patterns that casts its delightful shadow along fence and patio and bench below, changing its position as the sun moves throughout the day. The landscape design includes angular planting beds, concrete pavers surrounded by gravel and a small lower-water lawn for the family to enjoy. The photos show the just planted low-water plants, vines and olive trees and again after a couple of months. Drawings, Design and Photos © Eileen Kelly, Dig Your Garden Landscape Design

This design of an Upper East Side container garden is divided into two terraces that provide spectacular views of the city. On the main terrace, arborvitae line a corner to create a barrier from neighboring buildings, as well as enclose the space as an outdoor room. A lawn and lounge chairs help give this area a relaxing vibe, enhanced by a classical fountain. On the second terrace, containers with a variety of plants frame a corridor that mirrors the street and provides a great city view.
Style Architects
The main concept behind this project was to create a home, which allows for tremendous privacy for both the parents and the children, and at the same time doesn’t create extreme isolation between the both. Elevation is vital in allowing that to happen, by having a stretched out area, the house faces the North, in order to get a clear view of Lake Marriout and also for the breezy fresh air to access the house. The home is built on two different plots of land, one includes: children’s house (bedrooms, garage, living area, etc…) the second plot includes: dining area, master bedroom, main reception. All of that is connected by stairway and patio to give it the “homey” vibe

Yorkshire Gardens
In this project we aimed to create a stylish garden which was both family friendly and low maintenance.
Eco decking was used to create a large contemporary decking area. This composite product is slip resistant and is created using 95% recycled materials so is very eco friendly . This product is extremely low maintenance and long lasting.
Rendered flower beds were built and complement the sleek and simple lines of the garden. A simplistic planting scheme has been utilised to add colour.
A high quality artificial lawn was laid. This product is a great alternative for those looking for a lawn which will look lush all year round and will with stand children and animals playing on it.
The slatted fence runs around the perimeter and adds warmth and texture to the space. Overall this garden is simple yet very slick.
