A transitional townhouse for a family with a touch of modern design and blue accents. When I start a project, I always ask a client to describe three words that they want to describe their home. In this instance, the owner asked for a modern, clean, and functional aesthetic that would be family-friendly, while also allowing him to entertain. We worked around the owner's artwork by Ryan Fugate in order to choose a neutral but also sophisticated palette of blues, greys, and green for the entire home. Metallic accents create a more modern feel that plays off of the hardware already in the home. The result is a comfortable and bright home where everyone can relax at the end of a long day.

Phillip Jeffries Bermuda Hemp Elephant grasscloth adding texture to all the walls in this open concept living room & dining room. Professional Wallpaper Installation by Drop Wallcoverings, Calgary Wallpaper Installer.

The beautiful grasscloth wallpaper by Philipp Jeffreys sets the tone for an organic and coastal dining space. The chandelier becomes the jewels of this lengthy room when lit and reflects on the silver mirror. Love the original staircase banister that we were able to salvage! ”

Their original kitchen was small and completely Our clients purchased a 1963 home that had never been updated! They wanted to redesign the central living area, which included the kitchen, formal dining and living room/den. Their original kitchen was small and completely closed off from the rest of the house. They wanted to repurpose the formal living room into the new formal dining room and open up the kitchen to the den and add a large island with seating for casual dining. The original den was now a nice living room, open to the kitchen, but also with a great view to their new pool! They wanted to keep some walls for their fun New Orleans one-of-a-kind artwork. They also did not want to be able to see the kitchen from the entryway. They also wanted a bar area built in somewhere, they just weren’t sure where. Our designers did an amazing job on this project, figuring out where to cut walls, where to keep them, replaced windows with doors, bringing the outdoors in and really brightening up the entire space.

The dining room was formerly the living room. To the left of the fireplace is a set of double glass doors into the office with a new chevron tile floor. The mantel was redesigned to match the more modern vibe of the house.

In this project, we completely refurnished the main floor. Our clients recently moved into this beautiful home but they quickly felt the house didn't reflect their style and personalities. They hired us to redesign the layout of the main floor as the flow wasn't functional and they weren't using all the spaces. We also worked one on one with the client refurnishing their main floor which consisted of the entry, living room, dining room, seating area, and kitchen. We added all new decorative lighting, furniture, wall finishes, and decor. The main floor is an open concept so it was important that all the finishes were cohesive. The colour palette is warm neutrals with teal accents and chrome finishes. The clients wanted an elegant, timeless, and inviting home; this home is now the elegant jewel it was meant to be and we are so happy our clients get to enjoy it for years to come!
