Earthy master bedroom

This bedroom gets a lot of morning light, which I love so the windows were kept light with some woven shades. The walls are painted a mushroom grey color with the exception of the focal wall, which is a deep gun metal grey, nearly black. The bed linens were kept simple and balance the wall color. To keep costs down, the art was either painted or customized by me, the pillow shams were sewn from extra fabric I had and the wooden draw pulls were exchanged for brushed nickel. With exception of our existing furniture, I spent about $750 creating this room (art, bedding, paint, draw pulls, shades, full length mirror, lighting).
