This powder room underwent an amazing transformation. From mixed matched colors to a beautiful black and gold space, this bathroom is to die for. Inside is brand new floor tiles and wall paint along with an all new shower and floating vanity. The walls are covered in a snake skin like wall paper with black wainscoting to accent. A half way was added to conceal the toilet and create more privacy. Gold fixtures and a lovely gold chandelier light up the space perfectly.

Close up of the custom vanity. The maple bowling alley wood was a Craigslist find from a guy in Minnesota who drove the piece to us. The hairpin leg stand was a $20 bonanza find on Craigslist as well, just so happening to be the perfect and exact size I needed.

This whole home design was created for an avid traveler in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas. To create a collected feel, Pulp began with the homeowner’s beloved pieces collected from travels and infused them with newer pieces to create a modern, global and collected mix.

A large brass and acrylic mirror is polished and on trend. The matte black industrial faucet and wall sconce add an unexpected eclectic twist to the mix.

Zebra wood cabinets were used in this powder bathroom to make this room stand out. The flat doors, the linear lines and the hardware all help make this floating vanity more like furniture than like traditional cabinets. The round mirror above offers great visual contrast and the chandelier chosen is a show stopper. Topped with a black quartz countertop and a white vessel sink, this vanity is one that all guest will remember.

The custom cabinets I designed and built. They're made of poplar plywood and poplar trim. The blue stain is water based and eco-friendly.

The original Master Bedroom was very small with a dark bath. By combining two bedrooms, the closets, and the tiny bathroom we were able to create a thoughtful master bath with soaking tub and two walk-in closets.

Fun accent tile. Etched shower glass barn door easily pulls to provide privacy. Existing shower space had concrete floors, but we wanted to add heated tile floors. So we built tile onto of concrete floor and created a slope for linear drain. GC create a minimal transition between floor materials. Ample room for shower chair.

A view from the other side shows a collection of family photos in black and white and sepia which add interest and work perfectly atop the wallpaper.
