Channel your inner Holly Golightly with this Breakfast at Tiffany’s inspired DXV bathroom. The room employs the transitional style of Fashion Forward Scene II mouldings for a decidedly urban look. Mouldings and walls were painted a matte gray to create texture within the room. The white-on-white scheme of the ceiling mouldings creates additional interest in the room. Two Fashion Forward doors were used to create a glamorous double-door entry. Simple, yet sophisticated. Classic, yet playful. You can make this collection speak to so many styles.

Light, airy, calm and a hint of unexpected were the guilding principles for this master bathroom. The client mentioned that she had a white tulip table that didn't have a home. I thought it would be the perfect "centerpiece" for the room. Fun design fact: The client herself painted the pewter frame of the capiz pendant light, gold, with a handful of Q-tips and a lot of patience, for a softer, gilded look. This client has very eclectic style. So she had specific things in mind for her new bath. The results are astounding. The Restoration Hardware vanities and faucets are functionally and beautiful. The new layout that we arranged gave the client the privacy she wanted for the water closet and giving the shower more space by removing a unusable corner closet and adding more glass to the shower. Removing soffits and adding tall mirror ogive the space the feeling of being large when in fact its do9esn't have a lot of floor space. Nothing wasted in this space. A built-in line where and old tub that was never used sat gave this client so much extra storage.

Honoring the craftsman home but adding an asian feel was the goal of this remodel. The bathroom was designed for 3 boys growing up not their teen years. We wanted something cool and fun, that they can grow into and feel good getting ready in the morning. We removed an exiting walking closet and shifted the shower down a few feet to make room this custom cherry wood built in cabinet. The door, window and baseboards are all made of cherry and have a simple detail that coordinates beautifully with the simple details of this craftsman home. The variation in the green tile is a great combo with the natural red tones of the cherry wood. By adding the black and white matte finish tile, it gave the space a pop of color it much needed to keep it fun and lively. A custom oxblood faux leather mirror will be added to the project along with a lime wash wall paint to complete the original design scheme.

Upgrading the bathroom in this client's circa 1950s home required thoughtful consideration of the small space available. Elements of the home that had once been considered "modern" were now outdated and no longer functional (like the over-sized medicine cabinets and small closets). But the homeowner's eclectic style allowed us to still incorporate some classic mid-century elements that paid homage to the home's age, while enhancing the functionality of the space. Using a floating vanity and a corner shower allowed us to fit everything into the small footprint AND give her a walk-in closet next door - something she would never have dreamed of before!

Primary bathroom renovation. Navy, gray, and black are balanced by crisp whites and light wood tones. Eclectic mix of geometric shapes and organic patterns. Featuring 3D porcelain tile from Italy, hand-carved geometric tribal pattern in vanity's cabinet doors, hand-finished industrial-style navy/charcoal 24x24" wall tiles, and oversized 24x48" porcelain HD printed marble patterned wall tiles. Flooring in waterproof LVP, continued from bedroom into bathroom and closet. Brushed gold faucets and shower fixtures. Authentic, hand-pierced Moroccan globe light over tub for beautiful shadows for relaxing and romantic soaks in the tub. Vanity pendant lights with handmade glass, hand-finished gold and silver tones layers organic design over geometric tile backdrop. Open, glass panel all-tile shower with 48x48" window (glass frosted after photos were taken). Shower pan tile pattern matches 3D tile pattern. Arched medicine cabinet from West Elm. Separate toilet room with sound dampening built-in wall treatment for enhanced privacy. Frosted glass doors throughout. Vent fan with integrated heat option. Tall storage cabinet for additional space to store body care products and other bathroom essentials. Original bathroom plumbed for two sinks, but current homeowner has only one user for this bathroom, so we capped one side, which can easily be reopened in future if homeowner wants to return to a double-sink setup. Expanded closet size and completely redesigned closet built-in storage. Please see separate album of closet photos for more photos and details on this.
