A new side entry off the drive to the rear yard and garden, The free standing brick wall also meets pool code requirements and I love the gate (and color to match the home's trim) and mental arbor.

These Swirls 4x4 Bollards are used for driveway lighting on this residential project. The bollards are 37 inches tall and thus, they still "clear" most Minnesota snow banks in the winter! All our bollard lights mount on concrete piers for great stability, too! These landscape lights provide artistic sculptural markers for the driveway, day or night. Weeds Garden Design Build LLC
This was a dried out weed strewn desert of a corner lot - including front, side and back gardens, with enormous parkways as well. The entire landscape hadn’t been touched in many years. We removed all the dead grass and weeds, created swales and berms, a big rain garden, paths and seating areas all with permeable paving. Also added fruit trees and veggie beds, and transformed the space completely. Now, the garden is full of birds, butterflies and pollinators! And the clients got a sizable rebate through the LADWP landscape rebate program!

Beaudry Garden Design
This property was covered with pink rock when our client called us. In an effort to be gentle on the environment, and to save money, the client took our suggestion to work with what they had by incorporating more contrasting rock to bring the property together in a cohesive design. The clients are active birders and wanted to grow their own food including vegetables and fruits. We worked with interior designer, Nikki Klugh, to select gorgeous furniture to compliment the design.

Seen here: shuffleboard court with brick patio and seating nearby.
More about this project:
Complementing the traditional red brick house, Gary Duff Designs incorporated the brick into the swimming pool patio with bluestone border details. Keeping with the classic style for the front entrance, entry gates are set behind a Belgian block apron at the driveway.
Bloom Design
This offers another angle of a very steep hillside. Mass plantings of lavender and oat grass create a pleasing, low maintenance entrance to the driveway.
