A bold cobalt blue den in lacquer with traditional millwork, coffered ceiling, and high-gloss finish creates a colorful backdrop. Lucite deer antlers make a playful statement above a built-in desk. A coral sofa, moroccan rug, and pink wingback add even more personality. Who wouldn't be ready to close the french doors and snuggle-in for a good read.

MOTIF Design Solutions, LLC
MOTIF transformed a standard bedroom into this artful and inviting home office with the potential of being used a guest room when the occasion arises. Soft wall colors, a textured area rug, a built in desk are counterpoint to a cozy sofa bench -- which doubles as a twin bed or can be transformed into a queen bed by pulling the pieces apart and reconnecting them in another configuration.

HOME OFFICE.
When our client purchased this property, it had been in the previous owners family for 200 years. This meant that despite generous room sizes, the interior was very dated.
One of the most dramatic changes was the removal of a half-height brick wall which originally divided the kitchen into two spaces. New parquet flooring was installed in the kitchen and the old, heavy wooden windows were also removed and replaced by crittall style black framed windows.
The property was then redecorated throughout using dramatic wallpapers and strong colours to compliment the client's eclectic style.
