Grace Interiors
I live for moments of grace, such as classical music, beautiful china, fine art, and textiles.
This home is a testament of this philosophy, with an eclectic mix of the fine and the understated. Next to a work of irreplaceable fine art is hung a tapestry from Turkey, purchased in a market for pennies. On display, collections of fine Herend china and exquisite Limoges boxes sit alongside some of HomeGoods’ best ceramic offerings.
In this home, I’m inspired by textiles and fabrics, different dimensions, mixes of color, history, and artistic focal points; but most of all I am inspired by the intangible feeling of a piece.

This entire room cost WELL under $2,000 to create! All of the furniture came from the curb, thrift stores, discount stores, and clearance sections!

Built-in bookcases were painted, refaced and the background papered with cocoa grasscloth. This holds the clients extensive collection of art and artifacts. Orange and blue are the inspiring colors for the design.

Burnt Furniture Ltd
This wooden media cabinet was stripped, up-cycled and re-styled using the Ancient Japanese Burning technique of Yakisugi also known as Shou Sugi Ban.
Now a functional low sideboard or media cabinet, the wood was BURNT with a blow torch which helps strengthen the wood and makes the woodgrain POP!
Once cleaned with a wire brush to remove any excess residue, we applied a premium pink wood glaze followed by several layers of furniture oil.
The black octopus handles add a pop art/maximalist feel, transforming it into a unique, one-of-a-kind statement piece.
