Pinnacle Design & RemodelingWhen an old neighbor referred us to a new construction home built in my old stomping grounds I was excited. First, close to home. Second it was the EXACT same floor plan as the last house I built.
We had a local contractor, Curt Schmitz sign on to do the construction and went to work on layout and addressing their wants, needs, and wishes for the space.
Since they had a fireplace upstairs they did not want one int he basement. This gave us the opportunity for a whole wall of built-ins with Smart Source for major storage and display. We also did a bar area that turned out perfectly. The space also had a space room we dedicated to a work out space with barn door.
We did luxury vinyl plank throughout, even in the bathroom, which we have been doing increasingly.
Bob Chatham Custom Home DesignThe upstairs has a seating area with natural light from the large windows. It adjoins to a living area off the kitchen. There is a wine bar fro entertaining. White ship lap covers the walls for the charming coastal style. Designed by Bob Chatham Custom Home Design and built by Phillip Vlahos of VDT Construction.
Rudloff Custom BuildersThe light filled, step down family room has a custom, vaulted tray ceiling and double sets of French doors with aged bronze hardware leading to the patio. Tucked away in what looks like a closet, the built-in home bar has Sub-Zero drink drawers. The gorgeous Rumford double-sided fireplace (the other side is outside on the covered patio) has a custom-made plaster moulding surround with a beige herringbone tile insert.

Fran Kerzner- DESIGN SYNTHESISThey needed new custom cabinetry to accommodate their new 75" flat screen so we worked with the cabinetry and AV vendors to design a unit that would encompass all of the AV plus display and storage extending all the way to the window seat.
We designed a new coffered ceiling with lighting in each bay. And built out the fireplace with dimensional tile to the ceiling.
The color scheme was kept intentionally monochromatic to show off the different textures with the only color being touches of blue in the pillows and accessories to pick up the art glass.
Peake Green DesignWe replaced a dowdy colonial style mass produced painted mantle with a boldly modern marble wall to serve as the fireplace breast. The walls washed with light to either side will provide gallery space for the owner's collection of wall hangings. Rather than becoming a background for the decor, the mantle is now a key element of it.
Copper Sky Design + RemodelExtensive and well balanced living area with an open floor plan that provides efficient use of materials from reclaimed wood and other sustainable sources. This cleanly design provides a very efficient and connected space.
