Transitional Full Home Remodel

This was an extensive full home remodel completed in Tempe, AZ. The Kitchen used to be towards the front of the house. After some plumbing and electrical moves, we moved the kitchen to the back of the home to create an open concept living space with more usable space! Both bathrooms were entirely remodeled, and we created a zero threshold walk in shower in the master bathroom. Everything in this home is brand new, including windows flooring, cabinets, counter tops, all of the beautiful fixtures and more!

A flood inspired the owners of this 1980’s home in Ocean Ranch to update and minimize. Our restriction was that the homeowners did not want to use any color, so we needed to create a harmonious balance with the contemporary architecture using a palette of neutrals. We opted for a “soft contemporary” feeling using moss green, pale green, soft brown, dark beige, and cream alongside dark wood in some rooms and pale driftwood in others. Texture, rather than pattern, creates visual interest in the rooms. Organic materials mixed with dark bronze metal details add a natural touch. Heritage Bungalow renovation project. The kitchen is a combination of materials with a mix of white, wood and black steel cabinetry and marble and stainless bench-tops. The entire internal structure was removed and rebuilt including a new upper floor and roofline. The existing carport was replaced with a new double garage, art studio and yoga room separated from the house by a private courtyard beautifully landscaped by Suzanne Turley. A beautifully custom designed kitchen and wine display that would make any wine lovers dream come true. Naturally Translucent Marble was used to create the background and LED lights were installed behind it to create this spectacular look! Stainless Steel Wine Cables were used to floating the wine bottles and a 3/8” glass enclosed to seal the momentum. Custom cabinetry from Bellmont’s Italian inspired Vero line with C-channels which sets it apart from any other cabinetry in the industry. A Wolf Beverage Center, Axor Faucet, and Blanco Bar Sink complete the party!

Raised panel, stained wood cabinets with a contrasting painted cream island set the Traditional tone for this expansive kitchen project. The counter tops are a combination of polished earth tone granite in the kitchen and prep island, and matte finished quartzite for the serving island. The floors are engineered wood that transitions into travertine. And we also used a combination of travertine and a custom tile pattern for the backsplash and trim around the hood. Enjoy!
