This look was inspired by bringing a nautical style up to date. The statement boat scene wallpaper sets the tone of the room contrasting beautifully with the slate grey fisherman's pendant light, tiles and accessories - bringing a more industrial edge to the theme.

The powder room needed an update from the maple cabinets to a gray to match the island in the kitchen. A modern patterned wallpaper was the perfect choice to give the small area style and will wear well with a young family.
Design Connection, Inc. provided space plans, cabinets, countertops, accessories, plumbing fixtures, wall coverings, light fixtures, hard wood floors and installation of all materials and project management.

Powder Room make over with wainscoting, blue walls, dark blue ceiling, gray vanity, a quartz countertop and a pocket door.

The Venetian plaster and raw concrete feel might make this powder room look aged. It’s anything but with its contemporary floating quartz countertop and wall-mounted toilet.
Next in our Vue Sarasota build-out series is the old world-looking faucet, wall wash lights, and a magnificent mirror.

The homeowners sought to create a modest, modern, lakeside cottage, nestled into a narrow lot in Tonka Bay. The site inspired a modified shotgun-style floor plan, with rooms laid out in succession from front to back. Simple and authentic materials provide a soft and inviting palette for this modern home. Wood finishes in both warm and soft grey tones complement a combination of clean white walls, blue glass tiles, steel frames, and concrete surfaces. Sustainable strategies were incorporated to provide healthy living and a net-positive-energy-use home. Onsite geothermal, solar panels, battery storage, insulation systems, and triple-pane windows combine to provide independence from frequent power outages and supply excess power to the electrical grid.
