Fine wine is an investment too valuable and beautiful to be confined to a dusty cellar or shut away unceremoniously in a cupboard. And to pull out a dry cork or serve wine from a bottle with a moldy label – unthinkable.
Better storage for the bottle means more enjoyment in the glass. Sub-Zero wine storage units act not merely as coolers but as guardians against the four enemies of wine: heat, humidity, light and vibration.

Glazed Cherry cabinets anchor one end of a large family room remodel. The clients entertain their large extended family and many friends often. Moving and expanding this wet bar to a new location allows the owners to host parties that can circulate away from the kitchen to a comfortable seating area in the family room area. Thie client did not want to store wine or liquor in the open, so custom drawers were created to neatly and efficiently store the beverages out of site.

This petite beverage nook is a luxurious feature and is conveniently located near the kitchen eating areas. To boost the function of this wet bar, it is designed with a built in wine rack, over head storage cabinets, and a trendy glass door, stainless steel mini fridge. We used the same high quality elements as the rest of the kitchen, including the mosaic backsplash, granite countertop, and under cabinet lighting.

Cabinetry in a Mink finish was used for the bar cabinets and media built-ins. Ledge stone was used for the bar backsplash, bar wall and fireplace surround to create consistency throughout the basement.

The lower level entertainment area is set up for large gatherings. LVP flooring with a worn wood look runs throughout the bar and entertainment space. Clear alder cabinetry, wainscoting and crown draws the bar and entertainment center together.
The bar features tin ceiling detail, brass foot rail, metal and leather bar stools, waxed soapstone countertops, beveled antique mirror tiles, Irish inspired bar details and antique inspired lighting.
