Richard & Caroline's kitchen was one of the biggest spaces we've had the pleasure of working on, yet this vast space has a very homely and welcoming feeling.
Texture has played a huge part in this design, with a mixture of materials all working in harmony and adding interest.
This property could be classed as a modern farmhouse, and the interior reflects this mix of traditional and modern.
It's home to a young family, and we're loving Caroline's playful use of colour and accessories!
As well as the meticulously designed kitchen, we created a modern storage area at the dining end to pull the two spaces together.

Turning the clock back to revive the industrial time the home was built was the inspiration in kitchen remodel. Metal Hood and exposed plumbers pipe complement the Vintage 48' range. Marble tile backslash ties the blue grey painted cabinetry to the mat black metals and white quartz counter tops.

Beautiful blues and greens set this kitchen apart from all the rest. This is a custom kitchen from Dutch Made.
Blue painted maple with a splendid glaze that is just right. White painted island cabinets and custom legs. This is inset construction with a molding applied door. No detail has been spared. Stacked cabinets that hold a thick stunning molding to the ceiling.

This beautiful "farmhouse chic" kitchen features blue, glazed cabinetry, by Decora. The open plan offers plenty of space to maneuver, while the design is ideal for cooking. The space is charming and chalked full of character.

The raised panel, French blue cabinets are finished with a dark brown glazing. These are full overlay doors and drawers, constructed with high precision to maintain a 1/8” gap between every side of a door and drawer.
Using Carrera marble subway tiles on the backsplash enhanced the Kashmir White granite on countertops. For the backsplash, marble tiles and listellos were carefully designed to create an arched top niche that mirrors the shape of the range hood opening and it doubles a space for storing spices and oils.

Elegant center raised panel doors in white dove and winter sky enhance the kitchens previously updated features. The bright new full overlay doors play off the colors in the existing granite countertop and magnify the natural beauty of the stone tile backsplash. The combination of the traditional door style and contemporary blue base cabinets create a transitional kitchen design. The new stainless-steel appliances and brushed nickel hardware add the perfect finishing touch.

A typical post-1906 Noe Valley house is simultaneously restored, expanded and redesigned to keep what works and rethink what doesn’t. The front façade, is scraped and painted a crisp monochrome white—it worked. The new asymmetrical gabled rear addition takes the place of a windowless dead end box that didn’t. A “Great kitchen”, open yet formally defined living and dining rooms, a generous master suite, and kid’s rooms with nooks and crannies, all make for a newly designed house that straddles old and new.
